Started career at Strathmore in1964 in the under 17’s we won premiership that year (clubs first ever premiership)

Three years later in 1967 played in first open age premiership coached by Geoff Muller

1968 won best and fairest

1969-1975 Played for Coburg in VFA

Returned to club in 1976,captained club from 1976-1979

Won best and fairest 1976,1978,1979,1980 (EDFL B&F 1980)

Member of 1981 premiership team coached by Peter Owen

Served on General Committee 1977-1981

Played my last game in the losing grand final of 1983

Coached under 18’s 1986-1988 ( premiers 1987,1988 ) and under 14,s 1990-1991 (premiers 1991 )

When I came to Strathmore as teenager all those years ago , the club was in its infancy, it was formed in 1954, and when I see what the club has achieved in those 58 years .

I realise the amount of hard work , that has been done by a lot of loyal club men and woman.
