To Strathmore Sporting Club,

We would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts who stood by us and supported us through this difficult time.

We are so lucky to have such wonderful people around us right now. You have given us the strength and courage to get through this tragic time. The way you represent yourself as a club and stand together as a community is something you should be so proud of. The kindness, thoughtfulness and friendship you have given us is something we hold very close to our hearts. We have no way of repaying all the help you have given us but it has made the world of difference to our family.

We knew how loved and special he was to us, but we never realised just how much he touched the lives of so many others. If only we could have that special touch that he had. I don’t think he realised what impact he had on everyone around him and it has been amazing to see such an outpour of compassion.

The constant support and love from all of you is making it that little bit easier to cope in this devastating time of our lives.

Butch will never be gone but he will live on in our hearts and in this community forever.
