To our Valued Members

As you all know we have been working with the relevant authorities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in trying to have some sort of football season while adhering to the protocols so as to maintain the health and well being of our players and members.

With yesterday’s announcement of a six week lockdown which will take us to the end of a ‘regular’ season, that opportunity has been diminished completely and to that end the Strathmore Football Club board has, with sadness, decided to cancel all football for 2020.

We want to acknowledge the efforts of our volunteers including board members, coaches and parents in trying to keep our kids playing this great game in 2020. We also thank all members for their patience and support during this time

Once lockdown is complete we look forward to announcing some initiatives to again engage with our players, continue to develop and prepare for the 2021 season.

Our preference is for all paid memberships to be rolled over to 2021. This will save an excruciating administrative process and also save you money (any admin fees and increases next year). It will also guarantee your spot. Once again, anyone experiencing financial hardship is invited to contact us for an immediate refund. Anyone unsure about whether they will play next year or not can still be refunded in 2021 if they choose not to play.

The 2020 Club Raffle will go ahead, age group co-ordinators will be in touch with your tickets which, as ever, can be on-sold.
